Kia Ora, Today I did another Summer Learning Journey activity called One Line Art-Work. For this Summer Learning Journey activity we needed a piece of paper, pen or pencil and a rubber for any mistakes. I really enjoyed this Summer Learning Journey activity because we got to draw things. Also I learnt how to draw a bird using one line.

Kia Ora, today I did another Summer Learning Journey this Summer Learning Journey task was called Grand Designs. For Our grand designs task we had to draw or create our dream house, it could be anything we wanted. We could choose to have a campervan so that we could travel or it could be a house by the beach or a house with a swimming pool. I chose to be a house with a swimming pool. Also I learnt that creating dream houses is a lot harder than I thought.

Kia Ora, welcome to my Summer Tiki Tour in this tour we will be going to Maturi bay because it’s a nice relaxing campsite to wake up to hearing the waves hit the sand and the birds chirping. Next we will be visiting haruru falls dairy because it’s an amazing dairy that has everything you could imagine. Then we’ll be visiting Paihia beach because its an amazing beach to meet people or if you’re a kid make knew friends. Next we’ll be stopping to get a calippo because they’re so yum and they come in so many different flavours. Then we’ll be stopping at Urupukapuka island because it’s an amazing beautiful quite island with almost 0 pests. Next we drive all the way to 90 mile beach and go for a swim and play in the waves. Next we drive to Te Kauri for another swim and also go look for some rock pools. Lastly we’ll go get some dinner a Jimmy Jacks over in Paihia because that is my favourite restaurant in Paihia.
P.S. Didn’t know if I wrote one sentence for each stop in my Tiki Tour or, just one sentence for the whole thing sorry. 🙂

Kia Ora, In Te Ngahere we did another Summer Learning Journey activity. For this activity we had to write a comment to a person of our choice I chose Anika for this comment we had to write something positive, thoughtful & helpful. Here is what I wrote.
Kia Ora, In Te Ngahere we did another Summer Learning Journey activity. This activity was used when we were all in lock down so people had something fun to do. For this activity we had to recreate a portrait using little bits and pieces from around our houses. What I used to create this photo was airing a towel and remove b.g so that I could make my background black instead of my wall colour. I really enjoyed this activity and found it quite easy because all you had to do is recreate a photo.

Kia Ora, In Te Ngahere we did another Summer Learning Journey Taster. For this taster we did a poetry slam. For this poetry slam we got to chose 2 poems and based them on summer I chose a acrostic and cinquain poem because I think there quite easy.
Kia ora, In Te Ngahere we had to unleash our inner artist. We unleashed our inner artist by using Giga Manga. I found using Giga Manga quite easy because if you used magic pen all you had to do is draw scribbles and the scribbles would turn into a part of the drawing next you had to colour it in and add your own designs if you wanted to. I learnt that you could draw random lines and it would become a part of your drawing. I also learned that if you press the space bar on your device it will tell you where you missed.

Kia Ora, In Te Ngahere we get to imagine we had 3 super powers for a day then also think about what they would be also why we choose them. I would choose freeze as a power because then I can freeze people and the timer for if we have a limit of time to finish something in school. Next I would choose telekinesis as another power because, then if I don’t want to get up to grab somthing I can just use my telekinesis power to grab it instead. My last power would be flying because then if I get bored of walking I can just fly instead also I just think its a cool power.

Today in Te Ngahere we got to choose someone to make a profile for and write 5 facts about them on canva. I chose Millie Bobby Brown. Here are my 5 facts. She was 12 when she started acting, she’s deaf in one ear, she was born on the 19th of February 2004, her favourite animal is an orca and her favourite color is purple.
In Te Ngahere we have been creating a profile for lorde. Lordes real name is Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor. She she was born November 7, 1996. She was signed to Universal Music at the age of 13. Lorde’s first album, Pure Heroine, was released is September 2013 and published it at the age of 16.
